“Drinking Water: Challenges Today & Tomorrow”

As a public service, the Greater Saint John Community Foundation organized a session on September 26th, 2008 at UNB-Saint John’s uptown Grand Hall, attended by over 250, to inform citizens on the critical importance of water in our lives and communities. Greater Saint John’s six municipalities participated in a joint presentation on local drinking water sources. Dr. Todd Arsenault, NB Department of Environment Drinking Water Specialist, explained how the Province regulates and protects drinking water. Jack Hoffbuhr, a noted international expert on municipal water systems, gave the keynote address.
