Organizations seeking funding must demonstrate fiscal responsibility, competent management and a strong commitment to the Greater
Grants are normally made once yearly in the spring. Applications are to be received at the Foundation office by April 15.
The Foundation is limited to serving the people of Greater
Does Your Project Qualify for a Grant?
The Greater Saint John Community Foundation awards grants in support of a wide range of projects. However, it usually does not make grants for the following purposes:
* for advocacy purposes * to support ongoing operating costs
* to individuals * to cover deficits
* to retire debts * to endowment funds
* to sectarian, religious or political organizations * in response to annual fund raising
* to organizations which are totally government funded
* if the Evaluation Report from a previous grant has not been submitted

Project Evaluation*
How, when and by whom, will your project be evaluated?
*Successful applicants must complete an evaluation report that will be mailed to you if the project is accepted. Grantee groups which fail to submit a report are not eligible to re-apply.

Anniversary Grant
Identify the specific local priorities/issues your project will address, including information on well-documented community priorities.
Please expand/elaborate on the project budget in Part 5, providing strategies and/or a plan of action that your organization will follow to address these issues. You may include time lines/work-plans/projected budgets.
Explain how this project will enhance the capacity of your organization and other organizations in the community, with a special emphasis on sustainability for the long-term.
